Destin of Smarter Every Day went down the drain in my books as soon as he published a video about Flagella, and ended it by suggesting it could be intelligent design and told viewers to read a book authored by someone who is a staunch believer of intelligent design.Crossed the line as a science Youtuber. You don't need to be athiest to be a scientist, and he definitely isn't. But you should at least know the line.Finding out this site is basically just a copy of something that already existed and something they knew existed just further degrades my opinion of him. Especially with it being littered with ads. The ad literally takes up half my screen.

A good concept, I like it! But pleas make ads less invasive. I understand we all need to pay our bills, but that shouldn't interfere with the user experience. Besides that, I didn't know there were so many guys in space as we speak!

    > WHO IS IN SPACE is a project created by Destin Sandlin of Smarter Every Day and Geoff Barrett.Neat. Destin has a great talk that he gave to/at NASA about Artemis a few years ago.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OoJsPvmFixU

Jeezus h the ads ruin it W H YIs it really worth the potential of like $1 month if you're rockin the shit out of it, when you can host for free or basically free anywhere these daysOh I checked whois on one of the IPs and they are using square space. I guess that's why. Gotta recoup something from inexplicably deciding to use squarespace

Morbid curiosity: Are there any deceased individuals whose bodies were not recovered from space?

Safari on MacBook Pro sees the time text wrapping in such a way that when the time is pushed to the next line, it literally overlaps partly with the "Total Time in space" label. The time is halfway up the letters of the label. And these are the biggest ads I've seen obscuring a webpage in a very long time!

Didn’t know humans are spending that much time in space, over a year wow! I guess they need to workout daily to keep the muscles intact?

This is better than the Magic 8-ball. I DO like the visuals after clicking the Magic 8-ball though!

Anyone else read this as WHOIS in space? Was ready to find out which TLDs had Galactic Coordinates for contact details

The adsense on this site annoys me. It's run by Dustin from Smarter Every Day (at least it was in 2023 https://x.com/smartereveryday/status/1631364605426511872). In the past, the site did not serve ads.

neatadding it to my collection next tohttps://NextSpaceFlight.combit grusome but would be interesting to compare known time in space against increased cancer and eyesight problems that all the astronauts seem to come back withI believe longest time in spacewalk was 9 hours but they spent 22 hours outside the capsule during the three days on the mooncosmic rays are a b*tch

Call me crazy... but there's something about their faces. Almost like all of them are brothers and sisters. Creepy in a way.

Those SpaceX suit photos look dumb. I very much prefer the traditional look of the Russian and Chinese crew photos.
  • varispeed
Those Russians could get as far as they could from the stench of Putin and his genocidal war.
